The Cyber Audit Office of Hyundai Motor Group operates an online reporting channel as the official means of reception to strengthen the anonymity, confidentiality, and fairness of whistleblowing reports. Reports can also be made via email, fax, or mail; however, reception and processing may be delayed depending on the operational status of the Cyber Audit Office.

Telephone is utilized as a supplementary channel for report guidance, counseling, and securing specificity depending on circumstances. During the online reporting process, contact may be made when necessary with the consent of the reporter to receive communications.

  • When submitting a report through email, fax, or mail channels, you are deemed to have consented to the company's collection, use, and third-party provision of your personal information and report contents for the purpose of receipt, review, and follow-up actions.

Exclusions from Investigation

Reports may be excluded from investigation if they fall under any of the following categories

  • Submitted with improper intent, such as to gain personal benefits
  • Related to customer complaints, warranty claims, quality issues, or other service matters
  • False statements or one-sided claims intended to defame the subject
  • Concerning personal matters or management issues beyond the company’s authority
  • Lacking specific details of the actions (e.g., parties involved, methods)
  • Unfounded rumors, malicious reports, or other submissions without evidence

Reporting Procedure

After submitting a report, you can provide additional information or follow up via the “View Results” menu. Please check regularly, as there may be additional requests depending on the progress of the investigation.

Completion

  • Reports submitted to the Cyber Audit Center may take varying amounts of time to process, depending on their content and the verification procedures.
  • Reports that fall outside the scope of review, lack specificity or credibility, or are simple complaints may be closed without further action.
  • Depending on their nature, reports may also be referred to the relevant department for appropriate handling.

Whistleblower Protection

Hyundai Motor Group strictly adheres to relevant regulations to ensure that whistleblowers do not face any disadvantage, and we are committed to following robust protection processes.

Confidentiality

The identity of the whistleblower will not be disclosed or implied without their consent.

Identity Protection

Whistleblowers are protected from any disadvantage or discrimination from business partners or their department arising from the report, testimony, or submission of related materials.

Mitigation of Responsibility

Disciplinary action against the whistleblower may be reduced or waived, even if the whistleblower is found to be partially responsible for the reported violation.
